Commercial Coating Services International (CCSI) recently launched a new new InnerGard™ (Internal Fusion Bonded Epoxy Coating) plant at the Port of Iberia, LA.

An initial project was coated at the new plant and installed in the Gulf of Mexico in December of 2007. A second project has been coated and will soon be installed in the Gulf in water depths of more than 8,000 feet.

The new internal FBE lining system allows the development of an alternative water injection system that CCSI says will save millions of dollars.
