Questar Holds Open Season For Uinta Basin Expansion

Questar Pipeline Company recently held an open season that concluded January 21, 2012 to solicit binding support for the installation of nine miles of pipe and ancillary facilities on its Jurisdictional Line (JL) 47 in Duchesne County, UT.
The proposed project will enable QPC to transport up to an additional 30,000 Dth/d from receipt points located on QPC’s JL46 and JL47.
Assuming it has sufficient binding support by March 1, 2012, to underwrite the cost of the required facilities, QPC anticipates that the new facilities can be placed in service by the beginning of the third quarter of 2013.
