Kade Clapper Wins 3rd Place At Livestock Show
Kade Clapper, 10-year-old son of H.L. Chapman Pipeline Company’s Tom Clapper, recently placed third in the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo’s middle weight polled Hereford breed steer completion behind the Grand and Reserve breed champions.
His steer was purchased for $5,500 by The Goodrich Ranch Foundation. Of this, Kade will keep $3,200, while the remainder will go toward Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo scholarships.
This was Kade’s first time to show at the event. Kade is a member of Williamson County 4-H Club.
